Za\u2019atar (Hyssop) bread that\u2019s fun to slice and toast<\/h2>\n

If you don\u2018t like za\u2019atar (hyssop), you can of course replace it with some other interesting spice like garlic, caraway, anise, or fennel.<\/p>\n

Ingredients (1 loaf):<\/strong>
\n7 eggs
\n75 g melted butter or coconut oil
\n50 g almond flour (you can use very finely ground almonds or buy readymade flour)
\n50 g coconut flour (can be found in health food and various online stores)
\n1 tsp baking powder
\n1\/2 tsp salt
\n1 tbsp dried za\u2019atar (hyssop)<\/p>\n

What to do:<\/strong>
\nPreheat the oven to 165\u00b0 C\/320\u00b0 F and grease a loaf pan. (Or put baking paper in the pan.)
\nMix the dry ingredients in a bowl.
\nAdd the eggs and the fat and stir well.
\nPour the batter into the loaf pan.
\nBake for about 40 minutes until the bread gets a nice light brown color.
\nTake the pan out of the oven and let cool.
